Printing from your personal computer at WSU
All members of the campus community now have the ability to print to public
print stations directly from their own computers by installing the Pharos Popup
Client on their machines.
Download ( XP Professional / Vista Enterprise/Ultimate / Windows 7/8 Enterprise/Ultimate )
Download Pharos Popup Client (32-bit)
Download Pharos Popup Client (64-bit)
Note: To find out what operating system you have, and whether it is 32-bit or
64-bit, press Windows + Pause/Break keys.
In the "System" window that pops up, under the System heading, you will see 32
or 64 bit next to System Type.
COMPATIBLE with these operating systems (32-bit or 64-bit):
Windows 8 (Core, Pro, Enterprise)
NOT SUPPORTED until Fall 2014:
Apple Mac OSX
Windows 8 RT
The following printers will be added to your computer's printer list:
"L310_PhBW_Q on WSCVPRINT2" (LRC 310 lab - Black and White)
"LRC310_PhColor_Q on WSCVPRINT2" (LRC 310 lab - Color)
"SullComm1_PhBW_Q on WSCVPRINT2" (Sullivan Commons S130 - Black and
"SullComm1_PhColor_Q on WSCVPRINT2 (Sullivan Commons S130 - Color)
When you go to print your document, select the printer you would like to receive
your print job at.
A Pharos dialog box will appear asking for your username and password. Type your
WSU network username and password.
When you arrive at the printer, swipe your OneCard at the Pharos station.
Select your print job listed with your username, and click "Print". Enter your
