Printing from your personal computer at WSU
All members of the campus community now have the ability to print to public
print stations directly from their own computers by installing the Pharos Popup
Client on their machines.

Microsoft Windows (32-bit) - Download Pharos Popup Client
Microsoft Windows (64-bit) - Download Pharos Popup Client
Apple Mac OSX 10.6+ - Download Pharos Popup Client
Note: To find out what operating system you have, and whether it is 32-bit or
64-bit, press Start, right-click Computer, then click Properies.
In the "System" window that pops up, under the System heading, you will see 32
or 64 bit next to System Type.
COMPATIBLE with these operating systems (32-bit or 64-bit):
Windows 8 (Core, Pro, Enterprise)
Mac OSX 10.6+
Download the installation program for your computer from the links above.
Double-click the icon to install the Pharos Popup Client.
On a Mac, you will need to double-click the Popup.pkg icon when it appears.
When you go to print your document, select the printer you want.
The printer is labeled by building and room number in your system’s printer list.
A Pharos dialog box will appear asking for your username and password. Type your
WSU network username and password.
When you arrive at the printer, swipe your OneCard at the Pharos Station PC.
Select your print job listed with your username, and click "Print". Enter your

If you are off campus you will need to connect to
VPN before using the
Pharos Popup Client.
